Flips flops make a nice change to the normal kind of shoes people wear. Mostly worn in the summer flip flops come in a variety of different styles and patterns. The comfort and lightness of flip flops make them a great item to travel with. Flip flops can easily be squeezed into a small bag meaning they are very functional and easy to carry around.

Flip flops are great to wear with bikinis and come in so many colours that you can match them with almost any outfit. Surf brand are known for their quality products that are long lasting and durable some surf brand that make flip flops include Rip Curl, Roxy and Billabong.

Even though there are hundreds of flip flop designs and styles available some people still can’t find a pair they like. In this instance you could consider creating your own unique style of flip flops. You can purchase flip flops in a single colour cheaply which will then act as the base for you to design your own pattern.

Using some paints that are designed for use on flip flops you can create your own designs. The paint you use will need to be able to stick well to the rubber of the flip flops as well as being waterproof as well. Extra customisations you can make to your flip flops include the use of ribbons and decorative gems which can be picked up from nearly all arts and craft stores.

However flip flops are not the only form of footwear suitable for use at the beach. Sandals are another popular option amongst slightly older individuals these shoes may be more functional more walking around towns but don’t provide the easy slip on slip off functionality that flip flops do. Crocs were once a trendy item but seem to be loosing their appeal lately. The shoes are made entirely from a rubber like material and are a good idea if you plan to get wet.
