Why a jewlery store in Bijing,a watch asking 100k yuan for three month and not sold, it sold for1m in a day?

An article published in the local newspaper that a famous jewlery store in Bijing tried to sell a watch of price tag at 10k yuans for three consecutive months and no one buy it. The owner raised the price for one million dollars for the same watch and it sold in one day. Are there are so many get rich quick Chinese try to brag their wealth? My hudsband asked me.

    It is far far over the basic of demand&supply. Quick money get things easy with out compare. Is the shop owner happy? definetly Yes. Is the buyer happy? Yes, under the condition of not know the real price!!!!
    Don’t worry the buyer got ten watches of the same model. O_o
