If they have no backing, we call them rubber flip flops. If they have a backing, we call them rubber sandals. I am in the US. These shoes are good if you plan on getting wet since they are water proof. Normally they are not good quality though. People usually wear these to public showers, to wash their cars, or at the beach.

some old people call them “thongs” but most people dont because thats what a type of underwear is called too.
