how can i get rid of odor on my sandals?

Jun 11 2009

whenever they get wet, they really stink and then consequently my feet stink, even after i’ve taken off the sandals!
even after i’ve washed the sandals with soap and detergent, the odor still persists.

  1. NEVER. if you gotta, throw em out.

  2. you shouldn’t get these sandals wet, anyway. Where tennis shoes,…and yes, please throw them awy.

  3. If the sandals are made out of manmade materials, there is not way to get the smell out. You need to throw them out. If they are leather or suede (real) try setting them outside in the sun and using Frabreze in them.

  4. pat on some baby powder every two hours for one day (when there dry)…then they’ll be as good as new.

  5. If they are leather you can soak them in tea and then let them air dry. Soak your feet too. The Tannen in the tea helps keep your feet from sweating and smelling.

  6. baking soda

  7. Just spoon some nbaking soda onto them and let it sit for a day or two. Just dump it into the trash and go. I do this for my kids tennis shoes and sandals every time they take them off cause their feet stink. They just dump the baking soda when you are ready to put them back on.

  8. I clean my sandels in the dishwasher takes the stinky smellout. :)
