Hot or Not: CN Blue guys wearing gladiator sandals | Ningin

One thing about the CN Blue Vogue Girl photo shoot really caught my eye: Gladiator sandals on a CN Blue dude. (see right) As most of you are aware, the gladiator sandals trend erupted onto the fashion scene about 2-3 years ago. For women, at least.

For reasons unknown, seeing a guy rock gladiator sandals in an editorial spread shocked me. Given that the gladiator sandal trend is predominantly a female trend, I just wasn’t used to seeing a guy wear gladiators.

Gladiators, as in the tough dudes battling lions in Roman arenas or Russell Crowe’s 2000 movie of the same name, were originally male. And that’s how I’m coming to terms with guys wearing gladiator sandals. Now I’d like to know:
