Gifts For Friendship Day

People have been celebrating friendship day since 1935. The celebrating of friendship day started in Malaysia, Bangladesh and India several years ago and nowadays because of social media networks such as twitter and facebook it has become more popular now. On the day friends wish good luck to each other and celebrate the good times and the bad times. What are you planning to give your friends? Silver jewellery is a nice gift idea. Jewelleries are famous all around the World and many people wear jewelleries.

Although it is celebrated more in South Asian countries, friendship day is slowly starting to get popular in UK and US. There has been rumours about US government declaring first Sunday of August as their National freindship day. But its not actually proven yet. Even though it’s not official there are lots of people who celebrate this day with their friends.

So what can you give your friends on this day?

To give to your friend there are many things you can use as a gift. Some gift away clothing material and some give away jewelleries. For women jewelleries such as silver necklaces, silver brooches , silver earrings and silver rings would be a nice gift. Where as you can get silver bracelets and cufflinks for men. Though it depends on if they are a fond of jewellery or not. If some of your friends are not a fan of jewellery then you can always get them something else.

For example, oyu can always gift one of your friends a camera if he or she has an interest on photography. Or you can get a stylish pen for someone who has an interest in writing or drawing. So your initiative can come in handy in these situations.

This is another excuse to have a good time with your friends so why not start celebrating this August if you haven’t done so previously.
