I read that people wear sandals in the desert because it keeps your feet cool. But I read that the sand in deserts is more than 150 degrees. If that’s the case, how can you wear sandals when the sand is that hot? Your feet would fry.

I have sweaty feet, and now the leather footbed of my expensive sandals (Wolky) — $140 for crying out loud — reeks. I’ve tried soap and water, rubbing alcohol, even the enzyme cleaner I use to clean my dog’s accidents. What to do about this annual sandal problem?? Is there ANYTHING that can get rid of that smell? I don’t want to throw away pair after pair of expensive sandals!!

Ladies i notice when women sit with their legs crossed and they are wearing sandals that they will dangle their sandal to their toes and the sandal will just hang their by less then an inch of the toes.This girl told me to try it and i couldnt do it.I dont get how women can keep the sandal on without it coming off.I tried it and was amazed how women can do this.

I have seen some people recommend Birenstocks, all I see is open back sandals not closed ones. Keens is the other one that I see but not sure if I like their choices of color and designs. Is there any other sandals like Keens?

whenever they get wet, they really stink and then consequently my feet stink, even after i’ve taken off the sandals!
even after i’ve washed the sandals with soap and detergent, the odor still persists.

There are sandals made out of old tires and I forget the name but they’re mostly sold in Mexico. Phonetically, I think they would be spelled something like war-archies or who-archies something like that. Anyone know what these babies are called and how to spell it?

My 2 y/o son is in need of some new sandals for this summer. I am looking for something that will last and take a beating. Keen Newport H2 is kind of what I am leaning toward right now for him. Any other brands just as nice or better for toddler boy sandals?
